This flower caught my eye while walking on a bike path. I just had to capture the blossom’s rich color and the lush green of the leaves.
Our cute son, Vyeshka, was born Oct 3, 2004. His body left this world in 2019, but his spirit still watches over us. Happy Birthday, Vyeshka!
This pretty bird didn’t mind the sun at all. The day was scorching hot, but s/he stood in the bright rays while having a look around. This bird was part of a big flock that was hanging around a marsh filled with cattails.
I was lucky to catch this pretty, natural image of a bee on a purple flower. I don’t see as many bees around as I used to, and it’s hard to catch them sitting still long enough to get a snapshot. This scene happened in Autumn, but the plant’s leaves were still a vibrant green. The plant was growing beneath a holly tree.
I think this is a nice photo to welcome the new season. I took this picture while walking along a bike path.
I once lived in an apartment that had this stunning view. I took this picture from our balcony on a warm day in late summer. Autumn colors had just begun to slip in.
Today, September 15, we take a moment to remember our daughter, Byelka, as this is her birthday into this world. She left us in body years back, but her spirit remains by our sides to watch over and guide us. Happy Birthday, sweet girl!
I took this image of plants growing near the beach along the Pacific Ocean. Despite the loose sand and strong winds, these plants manage to thrive and even flower!
Today is September 1st. Last year in September, I took this photo while strolling along a beach in southwestern Washington State, USA. A beautiful memory!!
Wild nandu birds are native to this part of southern Chile. This one wandered into a farm field near Torres del Paine National Park. When these birds get upset, the feathers on their necks stick out. This one was agitated because horses entered the pasture and got too close. The nandu chased the horses away.
