Our beautiful daughter, Byelka, passed away seven years ago today, on June 5, 2015. Her spirit is still with us. In our darkest hours, her loving presence soothes us, and when we are happy she joins us in our joy. I find great peace in knowing that when my time in this world comes to an end, Byelka, and her brother Vyeska, will be there to greet me.

I made this short video of Ecola State Park while hiking on a trail. We stopped to rest. The wind was howling and the sea was roaring, so I couldn’t resist capturing both images and sounds.
Here’s a cute picture of a mama mountain goat and her adorable baby. A few years ago, my better-half took this picture on a hike in the mountains of Washington State, USA.
I finally got my better-half to target a retirement date.
We were walking on a bike path in a beautiful forest when I took this picture of him. I love the way it looks as if he’s walking into a golden light.
