I finally got my better-half to target a retirement date.
We were walking on a bike path in a beautiful forest when I took this picture of him. I love the way it looks as if he’s walking into a golden light.

I took this picture on May Day from a few years back. Just love the proud parents and cute babies 🙂
I took this picture while in Arizona, USA. In my books, one of my fictional nations is called ‘Antropka.” This photo reminds me of Antropka. It is a dry and poor country. However, there are a few areas that still harbor life. I can imagine my main character looking out a bus window and seeing such a landscape while she travels deep in the mountains of this foreign land.
I saw this little snail walking along a bike path. His (her) colors were so striking! I see snail shells once in a while, and I sometimes see chew marks on plant leaves, but I rarely see a living individual.
My better-half took this image of a mountain lake in eastern Oregon, USA.
I took this picture on a misty, spring afternoon. The deep colors of the blossoms add to the restful aura of the cool, damp day.
It’s Easter Day in my corner of the world. I came upon this trillium flower on a hike in a forest. I thought the image resonates with the season. 🙂
We had a rare spring snow. This is a picture of our back yard sprinkled with white.
This gorgeous bird was walking in a pond not far from a parking lot!
The main nation in my novels is called “Cadona.” It is very industrialized. I took this picture of a strange tower I saw while on a trip. The structure would fit right in to a Cadona cityscape.
